Brought my 1999 Landcruiser here for a timing belt change, a header replacement, and a general checkup. Safe to say it was no simple job. Jason took it on without batting an eye. He and his team ended up finding all of the areas that my other mechanic in NoLa (that I will no longer be going to) missed. It's also fair to point out that I agreed with them on all of the points they brought up. Bushings, links, radiator, etc. Jason ended up with such a larger job than expected, and still came through with flying colors. He also took time to find OEM parts, per my request, instead of using lesser quality aftermarket parts. In the end, my Landcruiser drives BETTER than when I bought it. I couldn't recommend Danny's Automotive more. If you live within any distance of this shop, or if you live in New Orleans and you're looking for a reputable mechanic, this is definitely worth the drive over. Will be taking my LC here for anything else it needs for as long as I'm in Louisana. Thank you again.

My wife's 2007 BMW 328xi was having engine problems so we had the car towed to Danny's Automotive to figure out what was needed. It was soon determined that the valve cover was bad and needed to be replaced, but during the process, it was later determined that the engine needed to be replaced as well. Rather than charging us for the valve cover and all of the labor associated, Jason admitted that the engine should have been checked upfront and, therefore, would waive all of the costs pertaining to the valve cover. Jason also provided us with recommendations on companies that purchase damaged and unusable vehicles and is allowing us to store the vehicle at their shop until we're able to find an offer on the car. Overall, if you're looking for an auto shop that is both fair and honest, with very reasonable pricing and a quick turnaround, I'd highly recommend Danny's Automotive in Mandeville. Their staff was really great to work with. Jason always went out of his way to accommodate our every request, always willing to help explain what was going on while providing us with an honest opinion or recommendation on what to do.

I brought them my 78 Land Cruiser after another local shop charged me $1,600 and I still had no brakes. I bought my Toyota 4Runner to Danny?s after a recommendation. The problem was the fuel pump. I also had the check my brakes, the back brakes needed new rotors and the front brakes were close to the same as the back brakes. They put new rotors ect. I also need new spark plugs! I had a missing lug nut from another Company who snapped it off and they replaced that for me! Everything was done in a timely manner considering it?s a low staffed company! Mr Steve was very patient with my constant calls and professional at all times! I Thank all of the Techs and Mr. Steve! I HIGHLY Recommend Danny?s! Late one evening my wife's brakes started making noise so we decided to bring it to Danny's Automotive (which was highly recommended I must say). Come to find out, it was after hours and we needed a brake job. After talking to Jason, he explained to me that I needed pads on both front and back and the rotors were the noise we heard. I asked Jason what I should do and he said have a seat and be patient while he closed up. About 45 minutes later my car is up on the rack and all four of the tires are sitting next to it. Before I knew it the front and back brakes were changed and I was helping tighten the lug nuts on all four tires. I was pretty happy being that it was my wife's car and Jason made it his business to help me out as much as needed for me to feel they were safe. After forgetting that we talked about tires, 3 days later Jason calls and tells me that he found a set of tires for my wife's car at the price I needed, and that he had them at the shop waiting for me. FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN ALL YOU WANTED TO DO WAS TAKE CARE OF THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD TO ME (MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER) REALLY SAYS A LOT. the next day when I walked into his shop to get my new tires I felt right at home. Jason and his guys are absolutely top notch! They helped us out of a serious bind last week. I work for Siteone Landscape Supply down the street. We brought our F650 in for some repairs last Wednesday. I had a customer call Thursday and they needed a last minute deliver first thing Friday morning. I was in Covington, La. at a Gas Station, when my Fuel System on my 2017 Ran 2500 6.7L Cummins was Contaminated. The closest Reputable Diesel Repair was Danny's Automotive. The fuel contamination required the Entire Fuel System to be Replaced. Everything from the High Pressure Fuel Pump, Injectors, Fuel Rails, Lines etc. Could not have done a better job than a Ram Dealership. If Quality and Job Done Right the First Time is your Priority, Jason LaBorde and Danny's Automotive is where you need to go!
